The Multi-channel Spur/Repeater Profibus DP HDP-210 enables the expansion and the consequent regeneration of the RS-485 communication signal, amplify data signals and couple Profibus DP network segments by branches.

Their main application are isolate noisy channels and segment the Profibus bus, while allowing better network structure layout.

The Profibus DP HUBHDP-210 should be used in the following situations:

Profibus TDP-100 Terminator is an active terminator created to make possible handling any communication bus node in full operation. Esepro is a Profibus gateway specifically designed to interface Woodward's Easygen series genset controls with Profibus-DP networks. It interfaces via the Can bus with the Woodward controls and is easy to configure using standard Profibus configuration tools like Simatic Manager.

A single Esepro added to the Can network will make all Visualisation Data of connected Woodward Can open controls available without adding additional load to the Can bus communication. The Visualisation Data is buffered in the Esepro gateway which decouples Profibus’ cyclic process I/O from the Can open cyclic TXPDO transfers.

The Esenet offers cost savings compared to traditional Modbus/TCP to RTU gateways as no separate RS-485 wiring is required. In addition the Esenet takes advantage of the multi-master capability and fast transmission speed of CAN to offer short Modbus/TCP poll cycles as well as concurrent access. Both cannot be achieved using conventional serial Modbus half-duplex data transfers.
